Charles Krug Winery

Charles Krug historic winery is ideally located 1.5 miles north of downtown St. Helena, on Highway 29 adjacent to the famous Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in the heart of the Napa Valley.

Tours

Although tours have been offered in the past they have been suspended for a short period while retro-fitting is being completed on the historic buildings. Guests are welcome to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in the picnic area; an assortment of culinary delights and wines can be purchased at the Visitor Center.

Monday through Sunday, from 10:30am to 5:00pm

Closed: Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Beringer Vineyards

Visitors are invited to taste and purchase reserve and library wines in The Private Reserve Room for a nominal charge per glass. The Private Reserve Room is located in the Rhine House. Wines often available here include our Private Reserve Chardonnay, Stanly Ranch Pinot Noir, Knights Valley Alluvium, Howell Mountain Merlot Bancroft Ranch, Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Botrytised Nightingale, as well as limited release & hard to find wines.

Please join us in our hospitality center. Open 10am to 6:30pm everyday, our inviting cellar is graced with a European fountain and formal gardens. The historic winery is ideally located within easy walking distance (¼ mile south) of St. Helena and is adjacent to world-famous Tra Vigne restaurant in the heart of America's premiere wine region.

Sutter Home Winery 

Founded in the late 1800's, Sutter Home Winery and has always produced quality wines at reasonable prices. The Trinchero family purchased the winery in 1947 and has pioneered many industry innovations over the past half century.

Continuing the tradition of producing good wines at a fair price, Sutter Home Winery offers a full selection of red, white and blush varietals. Celebrate life's everyday occasions with Sutter Home wines.

The Visitors Center, housed in the original winery building, is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for complimentary and reserve tasting, sale of wine-related merchandise, and self-guided tours of the White Zinfandel Garden.

Mumm Napa

Over two decades ago, Guy Devaux came to the US from the Champagne region of France, charged with finding the ideal climates and soils to produce great sparkling wine in the méthode champenoise tradition.

Mumm Napa draws from the rich heritage of Champagne Mumm while integrating a unique Napa Valley style to make internationally respected wines of excellent quality. These wines are led by the prestige cuvée DVX, named in honor of Guy Devaux and one of the most honored California sparkling wines each vintage.

Cakebread Cellars

Rutherford, CA, 1998 -- Jack Cakebread came to photograph the Napa Valley thirty years ago for a book and while he was here, he casually mentioned his interest in owning a vineyard to some family friends who had a ranch in Rutherford. When he returned home that afternoon, the phone rang and it was the family friends offering to sell their property. He headed back up to the valley that same afternoon and Cakebread Cellars was born.

Our Cellars Tours and Tastings which, our visitors tell us, are among the best in the Valley. Our 30 minute tour tastes 5 wines and offers a moving tasting throughout our winery so that you can see behind the scenes of what is entailed in the winemaking process. Our In -depth educational tours are offered twice daily and offer an opportunity for you to learn about wine from the vine to your table.
